12" KCO Style - Double (Chip) Knife Holder Assembly - 17.750"/35.500" & 17.795"/35.590" Circ. Part #: KCO-250-35500 Exclusive Walt Powley Inline design double (chip) knife holder assembly for use with Scheffer / Global Web Finishing rotary cutters. Features: – 17.750"/35.500" & 17.795"/35.590" Circumference. – Can be configured to take chip cuts between 1/4" (.250") – 1/2" (.500") in size within a single knife holder. – Dual function knife holder – Can be utilized as a single (chop) cut knife holder with the removal of the chip spacer and front plate. – Includes all internal hardware (modified tab plunger, barrel insert, set screw and spring), chip spacer, and front plate. – Utilizes standard replacement 12" (4 notch) cutting blade. Advantages: – Fast make-ready – mount only one knife holder, instead of two, when taking chips. – Make-ready chip area with a single strip of foam rubber – Save time and money by drastically reducing the need to cut, fold, trim, etc. multiple layers of foam rubber. – Greatly assists chip placement onto stripper pins for successful and consistent chip removal. – Provides for a rapid changeover of replacement cutting blades without removing the holder from the knife cylinder. 20" & 24" Length KCO Style Double (Chip) Knife Holder Assembly – Also Available. * Please specify chip size when ordering. |
